If I could only give ONE piece of advice about how to change your day-to-day experiences at work and in life, it would be this:
Most of us are taught to chase or change around external circumstances (jobs, relationships, money, locations etc.) to alter the quality of our lives.
To be clear, there’s nothing wrong with doing any of those things.
But have you noticed that they don’t always bring the happiness you thought they would?
That’s because it’s your THOUGHTS that create your experience.
If you habitually THINK negative things, you will habitually FEEL negative things.
So, if you’re looking for a better day-to-day experience, focus on your thoughts.
If you don’t have many positive things to say on those two fronts, changing your circumstances won’t do any good. Your brain just follows you wherever you go!
